In order to have a great business, a fabulous business plan is needed. If you need help figuring out what a business plan is or what needs to be put in it, assistance is available.

Northwest Regional Entrepreneurial Center

Entrepreneurial activity has become the most important job growth engine of the national economy. The State of Illinois, through the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, is now poised to capitalize on the economic benefits of this trend with the introduction of the Illinois Entrepreneurship Centers Network that deliver specialized services required by the entrepreneur, who may also require traditional small business assistance services as well.

SCORE

The SCORE Association, known as counselors to America's small business, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE volunteers provide free counseling and are men and women who represent all walks of business life: former active accountants, business owners, corporation executives, and other professionals. Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a part of Black Hawk College, helps entrepreneurs start a new business or expand existing business. The SBDC offers one-on-one confidential counseling for all phases of business activities. This free service offers counseling on: business plan development, financial loan packaging, sources of financing, financial projections, and education and training for new or existing businesses.
