Quad City Botanical Center

Built next to the Mississippi River, the Quad City Botanical Center offers beautiful gardens in all seasons. This gardener's dream destination offers a 6,444 square foot tropical Sun Garden conservatory, the outdoor Conifer Garden featuring one-of-a-kind conifer trees, and a medley of perennial gardens.

The signature tropical Sun Garden is one of the world's most unique conservatories. This garden features islands of gardens, a beautiful 14-foot waterfall, reflecting pools with Japanese Koi fish, and a 70-foot skylight peak with ferns, palms, bromeliads, orchids, frangipani, bird of paradise, banana plants, and other exotic tropical wonders.

Each season brings a change in the garden scenery - thousands of bulbs in the spring, hundreds of colorful flowers in the summer, rainbows of hardy mums in the fall, and tropical blooms and twinkling lights in the winter.

A fundraising campaign is underway to create a new $5 million children's garden - a collection of several kid-friendly themed gardens packed into about three acres.
